Crikey,
Although a few saw this coming it slams the door in a few peoples faces and will consign them to the prospect of years of waiting, I am just thankful I have already submitted my application just hope they honour the lodged ones now

Hi Dougie, just to say we personally felt like you, my OH was not sure he wanted to move to oz so we paid for a visa validation trip and yes we spent nearly £4000 doing it but we are so glad we did, it made our minds up for us and we are really excited about going now, OH is much more at ease about jobs etc.
If you have the money for a trip do it but either way do whats right for your family, give a go I am sure you will all love it, we did.
