Im going to be starting my electrican apprenticeship in portsmouth in september hopefully. This is a level 3 NVQ and will be for 4 years. therefore it finishes in september 2012 and i would like to apply for permanent residency then. i know its a long way off, but what are the chances of me being able to move straight to australia with these qualifications (bearing in mind i will be newly qualified from an apprenticeship - im not sure if an apprenticeship can be classed as exp.)
