electrical licence timescale

looking to be moving to north lakes in brisbane around july, just wondering about the timescale it takes to get the electrical licence and how long the course takes. i know i have to work supervised as an electricians mate even though i have been a spark for 25 years which should be fun .Anyone have any details of work prospects and wages would be very helpfull and is there anything i could be doing from the uk.

hi steve, originally from levenshulme but now live in heaton chapel in stockport. Do most of my work in south manchester in sale, hale, stretford and urmston.Nothing for you to come back to if you were daft enough to think about it. Thanks for the info but i think we will be flying straight to brisbane to get the kids settled so i will probably have to do it there. Anything you need from stretford arndale let me know
regards andy
