Confusions on trade cert
My nominated occupation is not electrician and I plan to go Oz on SIR visa. If lets say I have a electrical cert acquired in my home country but with only 1 yr of experience, can I get a licence in Oz? What is the procedure like? Or do I have to undergo apprenticeship in Oz before I can apply for one? I understand that if one goes on SIR visa, he must complete at least 1 yr of full time employment of any job on the SOL list, but does electrician apprenticeship counts as a job on the SOL list? SOL lists General Electrician, does that mean a licensed one or apprenticeship counts? Sorry for so many questions but all these stuff on certs and experience seem really confusing to me!
