clarifying oz sparky quals
Hi,
I joined the family electrician business in nov 07. I completed level 2 city and guilds in may 2011 (test and inspect Jan 2011) and level 3 in Jan 2012.
My family and I have been looking at emigrating for a while and wish to come across with PR. However, the sticking point has been that I do not have enough post qualifying experience as technically I believed I didn't 'qualify' as an electrician to oz standards until i finished level 3.
BUT, according to; http://www.deewr.gov.au/Skills/Progr...Guidelines.pdf page 63, footnote 3
formal training is upto level 2 of city and guilds.
Can anyone offer clarification?? Would this mean I have in sense been qualified to the appropriate skill level already since May last year?
we only ask as we are looking at SS to adelaide which asks for at least 1 year post qualifying exp,
