Hey guys I am currently looking at how much I can borrow for a mortgage out in the Gold Coast. I am just interested in how much an electrictian in the Gold Coast takes a month roughly?

I made mistake and worked for a Perth firm that was set up for me and did not realise what lowish wages I was getting at the time, left to come home as Oz was not for me, but wages for a sparky will vary considerably depending on the job. Minimum is around $55-$60k, average probably around $70k up to about $90k. It can be substantially more of course depending on what you're prepared to do. The mines/mineral sector are the obvious source if you want big money fast but that's hard on families (fly in fly out, 9 days on 5 days off for example). In those jobs it's possible to earn up to $150k a year, sometimes more.
