u have to clear the trade test as there is no other way to get your ARTC.u have to deposit 270 dollars for the trade test.

In this discussion forum every body knows about only trade interview but nobody knows about trade test which you have to give here in australia .

Here every body discuss about Vetassses which is organised outside australia for migration purposes.

As far as i know nobody here has not given the trade test in australia for licensing purpose.YES they are plenty of people who have given trade interviews but Trade interview and Trade test are completely different things.

HI ALL,

I am recently migrated from india to australia as a special class electrician.I have applied for ARTC to TRA Melbourne and they have asked me to appear for trade test at PEER. Presently I live in Adelaide South Australia. I need to know which kind of questions they are going to ask in theory and what kind of practical they are going to give me.

I am appearing for the test in middle of month April, 09
