Approved Electrician - which category?
 

Hi there,

Can anyone help? My husband is an Approved Electrician and we seem to be getting ourselves utterly confused about which category he comes under for general skilled migration purposes.

Should he apply under the General Electrician code or Electrician (Special Class)? Also, if Vetassess now assess people in trades with no qualifications who assesses my husband who has his qualifications through his apprenticeship? The MODL still states that the TRA assess General Electricians.

Sorry to be a pain, I just want to send the information to the right place. Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks.

1.General Electrician

2.Vetassess now assess all electricians for pre-migration purposes whether time served or not.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Have now found the Vetassess website so working through the info as we speak.

We are planning to go to Brisbane.
