Apprenticeship Brisbane
 

Hello,

Does anyone know any firms in Brisbane that would take on a 32 yr old apprentice. Have C&G 2330 level 1 -3, and 12 yrs experience but been told by TAFE I have complete 1 yr approx at college as I am a PR, and I'm not allowed to sign up without being employed as an apprentice first. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hello All,

Do you have your visa already, you made no mention of doing vettes route, or having attained an ARTC cert.

Energex take on mature persons, you have just missed the intake, not due again until February next year.

i would think carefully before making applications, and read the many different post on a way ahead. there is no way of cheating the system to obtain a licence but there are quicker and somewhat degree on cost issues, depends if you want it quick.

Hello Kevin,

Yes I Have permanant visa and living in Brisbane. Its because I didn't do my vets or RTA in ENGLAND that I have been told the only way is to get an apprenticeship, and then I'll be assessed from there. Not looking for an easy route just need to find a way to get on the route!
