Any one got a nt electrical licence in oz
 

Hi, I've recently moved to Darwin with my family on a 461 partners visa. I currently have an aplication pending for electrical mechanic with atrc (i am a uk qualified with seventeen years experience). I was wondering will I still need to do a regs course if the out come is positive. I've looked on the website and spoke to the nt electrical licensing board and they say I just need to lodge my application along with atrc certificate and I get my licence. After looking at other threads it's not that easy in other states. I'm just wondering if any one else from the u.k has got a n.t licence and if so what route did they take? Any guidance would be of great help. This not working is do my head in :)

Cheers m8 I have already checked this out. I am wanting to know if after application are you still required to do the regs course or was given a restricted licence? If there is a regs course who was it done with?
