Urgent help needed with gas cooker
 

Hi, does anybody know if an English gas cooker and hob will fit a Greek gas supply, and if not what do I need and where do I get them?

This is urgent as they are coming in a couple of days to fit them.

Suggest you contact the people who are fitting these items and if necessary that will give them time to obtain any extra parts.

I have done that but he wasn't sure so I really don't know what to do.

Hopefully your gas cooker is now fitted and operational. Did the fitter need any special parts to connect it to the gas supply?

Hi Talagirl, thanks for your interest. Yes it seems the Greek connections fit OK, at least they got something right, unlike electric plugs and phone plugs. My gas guy was brilliant so if anybody needs a gas guy in Athens, particularly Kipseli and the surrounding areas, let me know and I will give you his number.

He also came back and got my boiler working so I have had my first hot shower in 3 months. Bliss.
