Default Reducing broadband costs?

We live in Paphos and use Cyta for phone and broadband.
The fixed costs are now getting prohibitive and I am looking for a cheaper alternative for phone calls and occasional web or email access.
Any ideas.

Default Re: Reducing broadband costs?

I don't know about alternatives to broadband reception/companies in Cyprus since we are not there yet.
I would also like to know of companies that provide broadband in the different areas. or is there only one country-wide provider?
Are dongles available? What company/ies? - Cyprus or international?

For phoning try SKYPE on your computer/laptop/at the internet cafe.
If friends have SKYPE too, wherever they are in the world, its free calling, no charges. If you SKYPE to a landline there is a charge you meet by setting up a credit card account.
The SKYPE to landline calls were poor quality in my experience, but when both parties have SKYPE [apply online through Search] the lines are pretty clear and sometimes its as if your Mum/friend is in the very next room/sitting next to you!!
Lilian.
