Peyia or Tala
Just looking for advice really regarding the most suitable village as I'm contemplating buying a property in either peyia or tala. The property would be used primarily as a holiday home for family & friends. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated

Re: Peyia or Tala
personally i think Peyia has been `done to death` .. so many expats and holiday homes there now - .. i would much rather be in Tala, much prettier village and surrounding area/villages and a bit higher class - but remember access to the beach etc if you are letting to tourists.
just my opinion

Re: Peyia or Tala
I tend to agree that Tala is far nicer than Peyia but availability is much more limited and prices are higher than Peyia.
You should also bear in mind that unless you have cash or at the very least a very substantial deposit you may have trouble obtaining a mortgage as the banks are running scared due to the huge amount of money owing to them.
To get a mortgage you need to look for a property with title deeds or the banks won't even consider a mortgage.
