Limoncello
 

Two weeks ago I made some limoncello (Classic Italian liquor).
It was so very simple to make and is a wonderful digestif after dinner as well as a great way of helping to use up all those surplus lemons. I used a bottle of cheap vodka from a supermarket and reduced the syrup to 3 cups of water and 2 cups of granulated sugar and it was still wonderful. WARNING - treat it with respect or it will creep up on you and hit you like a bus.
