Quick hello to everyone! I was assigned here early this year, haven't had a chance to go around paphos.
Anyone staying around the area? Any "must -see" recommendation is welcome! or restaurant to try
I saw some online but I am hoping to get some first hand experience. Thanks in advance!

Just looking in from the French forum (which is generally a hive of activity compared to the Cyprus forum). Not sure why there are so few posters here, although I would guess that huge numbers of expats fled the country and potential newcomers abandoned plans around the time of the banking crisis and deposit confiscation.
Now with Brexit and the Covid pandemic, those planning retirement or holidays here no doubt have had a serious change of heart.
You may get one or two replies from Cyprus residents, but on previous form it's unlikely. Hope I'm proved wrong.
I suggest you try paphoslife.com, a dedicated forum where you'll find all manner of info, recommended restaurants etc. Their forum also looks fairly active, so worth a try.

Thanks tweedpipe! Ill check out the other forum. Yeah, I understand everyone is kind of hesitant to make plans.
My company arranged everything for me - even the shuttle to work. Never had a chance to really go around on my own.
I really want to try the best restaurants around Paphos and head to aiya Napa and spend few days lounging on the beach.
Probably via rent a car and just go on a road trip. I plan to use the same taxi company i booked for airport transfer cyprus24.taxi.
I've listed a few resto to try around paphos : Amorosa, Londos Perasma Cafe Restaurant, Pallia Ilektriki Restaurant-Cafe, Estia Greek Restaurant And Tsipouradiko.
Dish to try: Souvla, Makaronia Tou Fournou, Loukoumades, Halloumi.
