Linda and I are looking to retire to the Paphos area and would dearly like to know the best areas in which to live. We are looking at two to three bedroom apartments in a quiet yet convenient area for shops and coastal access. Sea views would be an additional temptation! A communal pool and fully furnished would be our choice and any estate agents you could recommend would be great.
We are both in our 60's and we know what Cyprus is going through right now
but we won't be going out for about two years - just planning.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Incidentally we will be out in September 2013 on a mission to look around.
Contacts would be nice and perhaps we can meet up with one or two ex-pats to gain some insight and advice over a glass or two!?

If you are using an Estate Agent, use one of the approved ones that are registered with the Cyprus Real Estate Agents Association here http://skekcyprus.com/

Ask for their registration numer, and contact the association to verify. A business registration number does not qualify, just the associations number.
