Advice please on transporting dog to Cyprus (no plane)
We are wanting to move to Cyprus and have a small Pug who is not able to fly due to his breed. Currently in Bulgaria and wanting to drive through Turkey and get the ferry to Northern Cyprus. Does anyone know if it is still not allowed to cross the border from north to south by car with pets? Or is there any other way to transport my fur baby by sea? I’m hoping someone can help me or has been in the same boat (pun not intended!!) and can offer some alternative way to transport my Pug. Am praying that there is another way as we really want to relocate to Cyprus as my other half has been offered a great position there but I absolutely will not leave my fur baby behind. 😢

I got that by googling "Ferry from Greece to Cyprus" Sorry to hear that you are leaving Bulgaria. It was the centre of my life for 17 years. Historically there are close links between Bulgaria and Cyprus.

I would imagine you'd have to look at cargo ships travelling to Limassol . I believe some of these accept passengers. Here is an article where the author got berths on the Grimaldi Line who had a drop off in Cyprus Link. There are links to agents at the end of the article.
