When do I pay the NHS surcharge for ILR?
Hi,
I've just paid and submitted my Idefinite leave to remain application. I created an account with UKVCAS and have an appointment booked in May.
But nothing has yet been mentioned about the NHS fee? When do I pay this?
Also quick one - I want to upload the documents myself. What about the documents that need to be sent, such as my passport and old biometric card, will UKVCAS send this once I give it to them?
Thanks! 😊

You should bring your passport to your appointment to prove your identity but you don’t hand anything over. Your new BRP will be posted to you when your application is approved. You will then need to cut up your old BRP and return it by post.

But don't they require an actual passport rather than a scanned copy? Sorry I have just seen BiP's reply saying that you need to bring original passport to the biometric appointment instead.
