Default Visa confusion

Hi

I am kenyan expecting to travel to the Uk so I can be there to see my child being born. The issue is, the mother of the child is a Kenyan born who settled and became a UK citizen. The baby is due in december and the mother is adamant on having the baby in the uk We are not married and she is in Kenya right now.Am afraid that at the rate the uk embassy denies visas, I might not get one. I have no intentions of staying in the UK but would really not want to miss out on my child being born.

What are the implications of our current situation and what should I do to secure a visa?

You would need to have very strong ties to Kenya - job, house, financial responsibilities in order to obtain a visitor visa.

Your current situation - pregnant girlfriend in UK - does not bode good for getting the visa.
