Today, our spouse visa was approved! Thank you to everyone who helped with our questions during the application process. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without this forum!

We put our travel date as August 20th, I put this on the application and both the sponsor and applicant cover letters. However they have set our vignette to June 21st to July 21st.

Can I contact them to change it as they have made the mistake of overlooking our information, or would we have to pay for a vignette transfer?

This also means that we’ll lose 2 months of our 33 month visa, is that right?

I was able to choose a date 6 months into the future.

I’ve had to go down that route unfortunately. Travelling tomorrow!

I’ve just checked the visa validity dates on our approval notice letter once again. They say the visa is valid from 21st June 2018 until 21st March 2020.

I count that as 1 year and 9 months. Is that right? Is it not meant to be 2.5 years?

edit: disregard that. It’s early and I’m an idiot. I read 2020 instead of 2021.
