Finally got my partners passport back today! - by the time I got to Melbourne it had already been attempted to be delivered so it went to the post office which meant I had to wait til 4pm to collect it.....
4pm came I opened it and hoorah itβs been approved!!! Yayyyy

So about 4pm today my partner received an sms from vfs saying they had received his processed application then received another one a few minutes after saying they would deliver it to our chosen address so Iβm guessing they wonβt post it out til tomorrow because we havenβt received any tracking information!

However I never got the email from Auspost - I'm assuming it's because it was Friday and there's no post on a Saturday...

I've been well ... busy packing. Sending most of our stuff to the UK by air (since we decided not to take any furniture back).
Only two short weeks before we move from Perth (couple of stops before we get to the UK in Dec)

I'm trying to avoid having to ship my belongings over - but it's going to be an almost impossible task to fit my life in 30kg + 7kg hand carry....

I know the feeling!
I'm planning on using DTDC.. They offer ~$9/kg to the UK by air.
They didn't ask for it when I enquired, but I got the TOR number from HM Revenue (just so it doesn't get held up at customs).

We have our flights book for 9th November so everything is full steam ahead now! The only thing that hasnβt been 100% confirmed is our cat flights but I keep being told there shouldnβt be a problem with them flying in Friday.
