Unmarried Partner Visa Processing Time
Hello everyone,
I met my UK partner while in the UK when I was studying at university. After graduation we moved to Mongolia and have been together for over 5 years. We applied for the Unmarried Partner Visa on 11 November 2022 (biometrics - 15 Nov) and received an email from the Home Office offering the priority service on 16 January 2023. We decided not to opt for it as we have a dog and are waiting for her blood sample results to return from Australia, which is needed for entry clearance.
Considering the recent news of visa processing times becoming shorter and applicants receiving priority service offers, I was wondering if there is only a short time left to wait since receiving the above email or am I just being too optimistic.
I also wanted to know how long it took people to get a decision after receiving the above email.
Also, does anyone know the average processing times now? I have been following the timeline update thread on this forum and saw a trend going from 6 month turnarounds to now 3-5 months. This probably depends on each couple's individual circumstances, but I was wondering if most people were receiving quick turnarounds now?
