Default UK Tier 2 ICT Visa with police caution

I received a police caution warning for shoplifting when I was in UK in 2013.

I found the guidance how to fill the visa application form, there is a question only about criminal conviction “Do you have any criminal convictions in any country (including traffic offences)?”

According to Law of UK (https://www.gov.uk/caution-warning-penalty) “A police caution is not a criminal conviction, but it could be used as evidence of bad character if you go to court for another crime.”

Do I have to declare about my police caution in UK tier2 ICT visa application?
How will it affect my visa application?

Kindly please help me.
Thanks

A caution is admitting a crime without the need to go to court and is recorded on your police record.

You need to declare your caution on your visa application. Not declaring it will be worse. UKBA have access to your police record and if you fail to declare it it is deception. Deception carries a 10 year ban.
