UK Spouse Visa - Living Abroad

Hi all,

I'm recently married to an iranian (i'm british citizen living in Dubai) someone had mentioned to me that i can apply for a Spouse visa.

Do we need to be living in the UK for this?

Our aim is for her to travel to the UK freely (relatively) for holidays.

if anyone could let me know the type of visa and how we can go about this, it would be much appreciated.

Your Iranian spouse would need to apply for a spouse visa, you would be the sponsor. This visa is so that the British citizen and their non-EU spouse can live together in the UK, it's not for suitable for visiting/holidays.

A long term visitor visa would be more suitable for your wife’s circumstances.
