UK Spouse VISA- change employment
Hi, All:
Please help me if you know the answer.
I have been with my previous company for more than 1 year and earning well over 18,600 pounds per year but the company sold to another company on the 22nd January 2019 So I lost my job. I then started a new job on the 3rd Feb 2020. We would like to summit the UK spouse around 20th Feb. According the Home office, need to show 6 months of my employment which I just started the new job? Do I have to wait for 6 months? Or Do my previous job and current job both are okay?
Thanks so much
Jun

If you started your new job in Feb 2020 and you lost your old job in Jan 2019, then you have to be in this new job for 6 months before you can apply for visa.

Sorry, my job ended on the 22nd Jan 2020 and started a new job on the 3rd Feb 2020 so I was out of job for a week. Is this okay for us still to apply?

You'll have to apply under Cat B - less than 6 months with employer:
5.3. Category B: Less than 6 months with current employer or variable income – person residing in the UK
Read the following document (Section 5.3) to see what you have to provide as proof of income:

5.3. Category B: Less than 6 months with current employer or variable income – person residing in the UK

Re: UK Spouse VISA- change employment
You left your old job in January 2020 and started a new job in February 2020.
You can only apply under Cat B
Depending on how you are paid you need to provide payslips from your current job proving that you earn 18,600 GBP or above. You also need to provide an employment letter from the employer detailing job, salary, whether temp/perm, full time/part time etc.
IN ADDITION, you must also provide payslips etc showing that in the immediate 12 months prior to the application you earned 18,600 GBP and above.
