Default UK passport entitlement.

Is a child born to a UK born national and UK passport holder ( the child's father) entitled to a UK passport where
A) the mother is a Spanish born national and Spanish passport holder
B) the father and mother are partners but not married
C) the child was born in the EU where the parents are working
D) the child holds a Spanish passport.

If yes, can the application be made from the UK in the standard way whilst they holiday here or is there a special procedure to be followed.

Possibly. What is the child's date of birth?

Child was born in 2015.
I'm thinking, from my interpretation of the information on the UK passport office website, that the child would be entitled to a UK passport on the basis of the British descent rule. But I wish to know whether this would be a standard application with supporting documentation, ie, child's b/c and Spanush passport details, fathers b/c and UK passport details. Or is it more complicated and requiring further detail.

Sounds good. And would you know if the application can be me made whilst they are here in the UK on holiday, or does it need to be made from the country they are currently resident and working in, ie, Holland?

They can apply in the UK if they're going to be there for at least three weeks.

Otherwise they can just apply from the Netherlands.

The parents may also be interested in consular birth registration.
