Default UK and Ireland immigration

Hi,

Could anyone please explain what the process is for immigrating to the UK to be with my fiancee?

We have decided it may be easier to obtain a fiancee visa for the UK than for him to come to the US. We have no idea of the procedure such as what forms need to be filled, documentation, are there interviews etc.

How long does it take? Also if possible, can anyone explain the process and forms etc that my fiancee has to fill out?

Thank you

Most here are UKC who are moving back most don't have to deal with visas. www.uk-yankee.com are USC who are moving to UK, more what you are asking about.

That's fine, as long as you want to live there. If you'd prefer the USA, you're asking the wrong question.

Is your future spouse from Northern Ireland?
