Default UK Fiancé Visa: Question on Cat A & D

Hey all, had a question in regards to Cat A) Salaried and Cat D) Savings. Sorry for the length of it:

Because of one bloody day, our last payslip for the 6-month requirement got shot to shit. We were using her (sponsor) 30th Nov Payslip to 31st May Payslip, covering a full six months, but because of an unpaid sick day (thought it was covered) it messed up her May's payslip.

So now we have to wait. Background, then question:

Because of the pitfall of the last payslip, if combining savings, we need £18,148.

She has two saving accounts. One is an ISA, with £15k, and the other a normal savings of £1200. Both of them have had that amount for well over 6 months (ISA £££ was inherited from the grandmother years ago). On Dec 23rd of last year, her mother gave her £5000 because she owed her from when my fiance loaned it to her years ago for surgery.

She kept the majority (used about £500) in her Barclay's saving account, and on Feb 15th, transferred it to her £1200 savings account. Then a few months later, withdrew £1500, but never falling below £4000, so still meeting the requirement of £18,148.

Finally, my question.

Can I use the three accounts? And then supply evidence of the transfer of £4500 into her £1200 account, both of which were in her name only.

Thus allowing us to simply set our start date as 31st of December, and being able to apply after 30th June.

OR, do I have to start the time clock for the savings from 15th Feb?

Thanks for whoever reads this and answers haha.

So on Dec 23rd 2020 she had:
- 15K GBP in ISA account
- 1200 GBP in savings account
- 4500 GBP in Barclays savings account
Total = 20,700 GBP

- on 23 Feb 2021 she transferred 4,500 from Barclays account to the 1,200 account bringing the amount in that savings account to 5,700 GBP
Total = 20,700 GBP

- she then withdrew 1,500 GBP from the savings account reducing it to 4,200 GBP
Total = 19,200 GBP

Dec 23rd is the date when you had the necessary savings. You'll need to show the transfer from Barclays savings account to the 'other' savings account.

Hey, thank you so much for the reply!

That's what I thought, but I wanted to be sure. I wasn't entirely confident if the rules allowed the person with the savings to transfer it between accounts within six months.

If she's set post 23rd of December, when would be a good start date to set it from that would make it easy for the ECO?

She's paid on the 15th of each month, payslips are dated for the last day of each month (explained and covered in the employer letter/and contract). So I figured 31st Dec, but trying to get bank statements for the last day I figured would be difficult, so would there be an easier start date to go from that will be including the 6-month payslips as well?

Also, one more question, sorry. For the 5k that was given to her, do we need to get the entire month of December bank statements from her mom showing her transfer from her account to my fiance (sponsor), or just a declaration of the funds, and that's it?

And for the other two accounts, the 15k was inherited years ago. Does she just need a declaration of where it came from, and that's all? The 1200 was various levels of savings from work throughout the past year, so a declaration for that would just be savings from work?

Sorry, just don't want to mess this up.

Thanks again SanDiegogirl

Default UK Fiancé Visa: Question on Cat A & D

Sheesh! It's been a crazy past week for my fiance and me.

After talking with HR/accounting Friday (with a bit of a mental breakdown) we found out this morning THEY ADJUSTED the payslip, updated it with HR, and sent her the new payslip showing the taxable pay as £1550, thus meeting the requirement !!!

They are going to adjust the unpaid leave and swap it for holiday pay next month, so June's payslip won't be hurt by being deducted or anything either.

Our one concern is the discrepancy between the updated payslip net £££ and the amount that had already gone into her bank account last week. It's a difference of £49.

How could the employer explain this so we have no problems with ECO?

Thanks!
