Default UK Citizenship by Decent - Adopted and Biological daughters

Hell all.. this one is a bit of a conundrum..
I'm British, and I've been living in the USA (Green Card) since 1999.
I have 2 daughters, one who is biologically mine and the other I adopted.
I know that the biological daughter can apply for British citizenship by decent.. that's not a problem.

But my question is about the Adopted daughter,
I raised her since she was a toddler with her mum,
I adopted her after she turned 18 because of issues with her bio Dad.. However, My name is now on her birth certificate as the father.

Her Mum and I are planning on moving back to the UK next year and She would like to move to the UK with us.
Can she apply for citizenship by decent using her birth certificate with my name and nationality on it?
or will she need to apply for something else in another way?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all.

You would have needed to adopted her and applied to have her registered as a British citizen whilst she was under 18. As an adult she’ll need to apply for a visa in her own right to move to the UK.

Thanks.. I was hoping that wouldn't've been the case, but I do understand it..
