Default U.K. Spouse visa extension TOEIC exam

Hi, my wife came to U.K on spouse visa in July 2014. She was given 2.5 years visa which is now going to expire by the end of March 2017.
She passed her A1 ETS TOEIC English exam for U.K spouse visa. My question is:
1). Does she have to renew her English language test as it has expired? Also according to Home Office "ETS is no longer licensed by the Home Office to award test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT tests for UK immigration and nationality purposes".
Thanks

A requirement to pass an A2 level test for FLR is being introduced in May, I think. You'd better check carefully whether your application will require it or not.

The tests are offered by Trinity (the GESE test) and IELTS (the Life Skills test).
