Travel to Ireland - UK Spouse Visa
Hi all been in-active on this forum as wife arrived and getting on with all aspects of family life, working and a lot of time in the kitchen .
Right to need advice ASAP.
Travelling to Ireland next week and flights have been booked.
However wife has a spouse visa valid for 2.5 years and BRP Card.
Can she enter Ireland without a visa? Does she need one? As was under the impression she not need one

Re: Travel to Ireland - UK Spouse Visa
As an Indian citizen she’ll need a visa to travel to the Republic of Ireland. Her spouse BRP doesn’t grant her any status outside the UK. If you’re travelling next week then there’s likely insufficient time remaining to obtain an Irish visa. As such I would take your marriage certificate and translation if applicable when you travel next week and see if you claim EEA freedom of movement rights for your wife.
