Timeline for first UK passport appication

Hello, a few weeks ago I applied for my newborn babies first UK passport. Our intention is to get the passport and then apply for my husband spouse visa so we can return back to the UK.
I’m just wondering if anyone can give me a timeline of how long the UK passport is taking if applying from the US during the pandemic?

Four to six weeks would be a rough guide but the UK has just gone back into lockdown so maybe longer.
