Default Technical issue

What falls into the realm of technical issue.
This is was the reason given from the UKVI when some one escalated their case ( they applied priority ) biometrics November 23rd 2018
Docs received in Sheffield December 21st 2018.
UKVI recently requested their priority receipt 1/26/19

I can only speculate but that’s quite the gap between biometrics and receipt of documents.

It seems to be the norm my husband did his in 12/4/18 and docs where received in New York 12/10/18 got the email from sheffield that they had received the app on 1/9/19.

People who upload independent of VFS seem to be getting the emails quickly from Sheffield usually with a week or so
