Surender Singh route for Mother - please help
 

Hi,

I need some guidance regarding using SS route for my mother.

Myself - British Citizen
My wife - Indian Citizen . Have UK dependent VISA till June 2017
My 2 year old son - British Citizen

My mother - 60 years old - Indian Citizen - has valid UK Visitor visa till Sep 2017

Me, my wife and son can stay permanently in UK, but not my mother under current UK laws. She can only be in UK for 6 months in 1 year time. So, I wanted to explore SS route so that my mother can stay permanently with me in the UK.

1) My wife can get a job (internal transfer from her company) to Dublin, and the company will process her VISA
2) Me and my son can go with her as we have British passport

3) My mother - which visa will she need ? Visitor VISA ? or she can accompany me as a relative of British citizen ?

4) Once we reach there, I can start my business there - (i.e. consulting or software etc) and will fulfill all the business requirements. i.e. PPS, business registration, tax registration etc.

5) Whether both my wife and mother need to register GNIB or send EU1 to register presence in Ireland within 3 months

6) Within how much time, I can apply for Ireland Residency card for my spouse and mother ? whether my wife also need this card?

7) Do I then need to apply for UK family permit for both wife & mother. Wife already has UK VISA (dependent)

Are you sure that your wife can stay in the UK permanently? If her UK spouse visa expires in June 2017, will she need to get it renew?
