Submission Process - Self Scan
Hi
We are currently based in Wellington, NZ and in the process of applying for a Spouse Visa. We are nearly ready to submit but just a little unsure about the next steps once we submit online.
We intend to go the self scan route but unsure of the process? We have been collection all our documents in A4 PDF format ready for submission to VFS and have been trying to avoid printing all the documents out.
Do we still need to print the documents out just incase? Do we need to show them for the biometrics visit?
Has anyone used it lately - I've read it could be quite buggy and there are file size limits etc?
Thanks

Hi Leon, hopefully this will help a bit https://www.gov.uk/government/public...in-new-zealand
Now I guess all I would please like to know is the experiences of people doing self upload and whether there are any tips from personal experience anyone has gained i.e. max file size, max number to upload at one time, preferred browser and any gotchas etc?
Thanks

It is rather laborious but does work. I scanned one at a time for them and then grouped the docs and ordered into pdfs before uploading to the site and application.

does anyone know if we are able to make changes to the documents uploaded after the Biometrics appointment?
