At the risk of disagreeing with the great BiP, I don't think it is at the moment, England has all non-essential travel banned. However, by the time the OP has got a flight and done his quarantine, the rules will have changed in his favour and then he'll be allowed to travel up to Scotland for a reason other than work/essential travel etc.

Is the cost difference of the flight before 15th April more expensive than hiring somewhere for quarantine? Add in things like the fact that presumably you're still paying rent/mortgage/council tax/bills on an empty home in Scotland as well as wherever you're staying in Pakistan, would it not be more cost effective to just get back? Plus better for your family if your kids are missing school etc.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how many times you ask the question, the answer is still the same. If you don't want to risk your status, you need to get back.

Best of luck.

I may be misinterpreting what you mean but you can certainly travel from the airport to your home when returning from abroad.

There are new rules about travelling to English airports and ports of departure and leaving the UK, which may be part of the confusion.

It also appears travel from England to Scotland is currently restricted.

Sadly, my cursory glance of the op's post didn't detect that he will travel to Scotland. But, unfortunately, the relevant rule of hotel quarantine still might not be circumventable even by using the route of UK because the officials are well aware of this loophole. And, also giving the wrong information about the travel can result in imposing heavy fines even imprisonment. However, there are rumours that very soon the lockdown will be eased out but in doing so they would look on the scientific data instead any date. In my view, the only legitimate way maybe to just quarantine at some family member's or friend home in UK on arriving then after couple of weeks trying in using the permissible reason of travelling to Scotland such as kids school, doctor appointment, or home shifting etc

If you have not travelled through one of these acute risk areas in the 10 days before arriving in England, you will not need to quarantine in a hotel. Instead, you must self-isolate for 10 days (11 nights), either at home or anywhere else you are planning to stay in Scotland, unless you are exempt. Only a small number of people, such as those travelling for essential work, are exempt.

You have until next Friday to come back without hotel quarantine but you can still return at any time as you are a UK resident.

Looks like you'll be in Pakistan for a while longer then.......you took your children with you - are they going to school in Pakistan? (considering you'll have been away for 5 to 6 months)

If it was only you that returned ASAP, then would one flight ticket be more expensive than having to reapply for your spousal visa?

I'm trying my best to return back before 180 days completed. But on every form I'm reading that there is no 180 days rule for spouse visa holders
