State Pension

I will shortly be submitting a settlement visa application for my partner and seek advice concerning Pension Income. I receive a guaranteed index linked private pension that has been in payment for a number of years currently £17650 per annum. My state pension kicks in shortly, and is forecast to be £8300. Combined the pensions will exceed minimum income requirements of £18600.

Will the state pension award be sufficient to prove income, or will I be required to receive it for 6 months before it is accepted?

Thanks for any information
