Spouse visa, waiting for 9 months!
made settlement spouse visa application for husband in november 2017, received email in january saying application not straightforward but aiming to make a decision, then received phone call and had a over the phone interview from HO/UKVI in february, waited till june then sent an email to ukvi which they responded saying they has escalated our case and they are looking into it but cant give a time frame for when a decision gets made, finally got mp invovled in july which he wrote to them and he received response letter from ukvi earlier this month saying the application is still getting looked into and they will contact husband when they make a decision. on the letter mp received from ukvi at the bottom where the letter gets signed off it says UKVI and Her Majestys Passport Office, why is that ? do hm passport office and ukvi work together or could this be an indication that husbands visa is getting issued, im just trying to think the best. is anyone else going through the same thing ? and did you finally receive visa after waiting for sooo long ?

Any reason why the Home Office would need to carry out such a lengthy investigation into your our your husband's circumstances?

Would HO normally extend applications for a valid reason or could they have lost it? |
