Hi. The thing is, declaring a loan as an outright gift is a breach of UK immigration law and discovery of this would have adverse consequences for you and your family.

I had to cash in some of my superannuation (pension scheme) to meet the requirements, would much rather have not had to do this but it was necessary. Honestly, there's only one rule people need to remember and that's play it straight down the line.
