Spouse visa questions
Hello everyone,
I have applied for spouse visa on 24th Sep 2018 and still waiting. I just want to ask few questions about my circumstances as reading other's made me anxious. I did my masters in the UK 2016 and worked as part time for couple of months, so by default i had bank account and insurance number. My first question regarding to credit file and if my application will be affected by my credit history as i have a default as i was outside the UK and couldn't pay my credit card balance for more than 3 months. And the second question regarding to a US visa refusal back in 2015 due to lack of travel history as the lady interviewed me said. I mentioned that in my application but am a bit worried that could cause some delays in my application. Thank you

Re: Spouse visa questions
Your credit history has no influence on your application. Your US visa refusal will be taken into consideration but mentioning it was the correct way to go. It’s unlikely to have a negative effect on your application. You’ve been waiting less than a month. Depending on the county from which you applied from you can expect to wait a fair bit longer.
