You can pay extra for priority processing from Australia.

Edit: It’s also preferable to use cash savings to meet the financial requirements if possible as it’s much easier vis a vis the paperwork involved.

Hey BIP,

Thanks for your advice we managed to find somewhere to get married so just have to wait the mandatory 4 weeks.

I wish i could go the savings route but we only have half of what they require so its just easier to go the job route.

My question is once were married can we apply for the visa ASAP? or do we have to wait till the Mrs gets a new passport in her new name?

Cheers

You can apply straight away - not every married woman changes her surname - but if your wife does want to do that then it’ll be better to wait and start the process under her married name.

Would like to say that we finally tied the knot and are in the process of applying for the visa, my new wife has just applied for her new passport in her new name with priority service!

So now I only have to get my employment offer letter from my perspective employer in the UK.

My question is, what exactly does this letter need to state? and how does it have to be laid out?

Is there a template on this website that ive not been able to find? Ive been looking for guides on how to apply but cant seem to find any, could you point me in the direction of maybe another users post on how they applied?

Appreciate all the help, thank you very much in advance!

Cheers
