Default Spouse visa process times

Well my wife applied for visa 3rd of April 2018 biometric received the same day as interview received a letter saying visa delayed on 25 6 2018
it's now 7th August 2018 well over 90 working days whistle blower friend tells me that the home office are kicking spouse and families visa into touch to do student visa application dew to they make more money everything was in tacked on our application I earn enough money I own my own house I sent accountant letters and 44year national insurance payments everything should be straight forward not like the letter they sent me said ..I'm starting to think this is racist dew to my nationality being welsh im embarrassing to be british with the way they treat loyal citizens who worked all there life

Assuming you meant that as a joke? There's obviously no racism involved, there's simply work and background checks, and a backlog.

As you've had the 'not straightforward' contact, that means your background checks will take longer and can't be processed within normal timescales. Where your wife is from will have a big bearing on processing time, if it's from a high fraud country then expect it to take much longer.

But I'll move your thread to the MBTTUK forums, you can see threads there from others including our very useful timeline thread that will give you an idea of how long others have waited (many still waiting from way before you applied, so you're not alone).
