I am a UK citizen and want to bring my Russian wife and family back to the UK. We have 2 children (with British passports).

I own my own company in Russia and have a job lined up (£30,000)for when I move back home so I am applying under Category A. I also have £40,000 in savings for 6 months

My question is regarding the dividends I have received in Russia for the last year. With salary alone I have earnt £7500 gross but when dividends are included this goes up to £32,000 gross.

Will the £32,000 be acceptable for a spouse visa or will they only look at my salary? The tax documents will show that I have earnt the full amount over the year.

One more bit of info. The savings are in an instant access offshore account in sterling, will this cause any problems?
