My wife is on a spouse visa and earns the minimum income amount via her job here in the UK. Does the husband as the sponsor still have to earn above the threshold or can we just submit her payslips? This is for an extension not a the first visa.

You can meet the income requirement through the applicant’s salaried income, the sponsor’s salaried income or a combination of both.
