Spouse visa - entry timeframes

Does anyone know how long you get to enter the UK once visa is approved? I’m having issues getting my cats on a flight to the UK as there’s no availability at HARC and have been told it could be a few months…so I need to wait to send them before I can leave! I’m in NZ.

Typically three months from the entry date you indicated on your application form.

Thank you! That should be doable the. If I miss the cutoff to enter, do I need to apply all over again?

Is this the norm these days? Used to be 30 days; so extended it to take into account Covid?

when I applied yesterday it said 30 days so I’ll see what happens once approved! Also I couldn’t choose priority so I guess that’s off the cards at the moment too, for NZ anyway.

It is currently a COVID-19 measure so although the application form will still quote the standard 30 days you should receive a 90 day entry vignette.
