Spouse visa check list, are our documents ok?
Hi everyone,
Me and my wife are putting our last documents together in time to book my biometrics appointment for end of November 2018 and wanted to ask if anyone can have a look through our documents and if we are missing anything! P.s. this check list is also for anyone who needs help and more than welcome to use it as a template for their application.
(We are not using a solicitor so all the info of documents we have are all from researching different visa forums and advise from family friends who have had successful visa applications).
Documents in order of importance
(first documents of the application)
2x UK sized passport photos of husband (applicant)
Printed visa4UK online application & signed by applicant
Appendix 2 form
Printed receipt for visa application payment
IHS confirmation email printed
Applicant relationship letter
Photo copy of applicant passport, ID page, any stamped pages, visa stamps
Photo copy of applicant national ID card
Applicant original birth certificate
Applicant A1 IELTS English certificate
Sponsor relationship letter
Certified copy of sponsor's passport, ID page, any stamped pages, visa stamps
Sponsor original birth certificate
Sponsor undertaking form (SU07/12)
2x UK sized passport photos of sponsor
Relationship Documents
Original marriage certificate with translation
Money transfer receipts (dates in order)
Wedding venue receipt
Wedding photographer receipt
Wedding invitation card
Sponsor's flight tickets throughout relationship with applicant
Photo's of each time sponsor visited applicant
Screenshots of WhatsApp calls from beggining of 2015-now (4/5 for each month)
Screen shots of WhatsApp video calls (3/4 each month)
Screenshots of Viber call list and messages
Screenshots of shared media between sponsor and applicant (we have about 8000 shared media!)
Photos of engagment party (20)
Photos of marriage (20)
Proposed flight itinery for applicant potential flight to UK (date will be around 90 days after online application is submitted)
Financial documents
Spouse's employment letter
Spouse's work contract
Spouse's P60
Spouse's 6x monthly payslips
Spouse's 6x monthly bank statements
Letter from employer confirming payslips are genuine
Accommodation documents
Letter from spouse's parents
Tenancy agreement
Photographs of property
Letter from housing company stating house is large enough for 6 people to live in
Letter from housing company stating that we are up to date with rent

Looks good. You don’t need Form SU07/12 but obviously you will need to submit the applicant’s original passport unless you are paying extra to retain it.
