My Wife's spouse visa was approved a few days ago, you will find the timeline in that thread - here is my list of what i sent and in what order in the hope i can give back to this forum who helped me greatly through the process - Good luck!

(1) Settlement priority processing fee receipt (this includes confirmation of payment of the roundtrip courier fee);
(2) Stamped/endorsed bio-metrics appointment notice;
(3) Spouse settlement visa application form;
(4) Form Appendix 2;
(5) Form SU7/12 Sponsorship Undertaking declaration;
(6) Visa fee payment receipt;
(7) IHS fee payment receipt;
(8) IHS reference number;
(9) My Wife's physical current passport
(10) My Wife's previous 4 passports covering last 10 years and more
(11) My (Sponsor's) physical passport
(12) Both our kids physical passports
(13) Both our physical green cards
(14) Our marriage certificate;
(15) My (sponsors) British birth certificate;
(16) My Wife's birth certificate
(17) Both our kids birth certificates
(18) original UK bank savings account statements for last 6 months - we applied on savings option
(19) Letter from both of us confirming the source of funds held in our UK savings account
(20) Sponsor's offer letter from new job in UK and accompanying employment contract;
(21) Supporting letter from myself (The sponsor)
(22) Supporting letter from sponsors parents (we used them as accommodation) with accompanying certified copies of their British passports;
(23) Letter from property solicitor confirming the legal title of the accommodation address is owned by the sponsors parents
(24) Property Inspection Report of accommodation address
(25) Joint USA Tax returns (electronic printouts) in the joint names of us both from last 4 years
(26) Various other USA tax forms from last 4-5 years, some were my wife's, some where mine, some were joint
(27) W-2 USA earning summary for my wife and I for the last 6 years
(28) Original joint car insurance policy certificates in the name of sponsor and wife covering the last 2 years
(29) Original joint internet statements/invoices addressed to both of us covering last 9 months
(30) Original UK credit card statements in the joint names of both of us covering last year
(31) Original bank statements of 3 USA bank accounts addressed to both of us covering the last year
(32) Original joint UK current account statements from last 18 months
(33) A selection of family photographs - i made a collage, 3 pages with 8 photos on each, all dated and captioned. Also i printed around 8 different photos full size and put them in a folder with descriptions and dates on the back
(34) UPS return courier airway bill.

Hey, when did you get married? Because I wanted to build up a picture of intervening devotion and how far back you need docs like joint accounts, photos etc. thanks
