spouse visa
We’ve started the visa application for us to move back to the UK. Husband (UK citizen) and I am US citizen we live in the US currently.
My husband moved here in 2015 using K1 visa, that visa process was brutal and such a lengthy process.
This spouse visa seems very straight forward and simple process with a smaller amount of documents needed. We have the savings covered and those worked out.
Is this normal? It almost seems too easy…
Are we missing something?

Re: spouse visa
You need to show you fulfill the financial, accommodation and relationship criteria.
Most people find the financials the most difficult. Under what category are you going to apply? (you were sent a link to the financials last week)
For financials (if applying under employment) you need such things as payslips, bank statements, employment contract; for accommodation you have to send in documents proving you have accommodation before you leave; for relationship, marriage certificate, proof you have been living together etc.
Notice you are applying under savings, so you need to show you have $62,500 GBP in your control for 6 months.
If you have no 'issues' then it is usually straightforward. The process time has extended to more than 3 months now.

We are applying under savings, we are selling our home and using that for our funds. We will have documentation for that in the coming months.
What does it mean by the accommodation? We haven’t seen much of that on the application?
thank you!

Re: spouse visa
You'll be asked to provide your accommodation details on the actual application.
The following document provides details as to accommodation when applying for spouse visa - from page 22 onwards. (the sections on Adequate maintenance are not relevant to you)
