Spouse visa

I am Janu , I am New Zealand citizen, my husband UK citizen, He is got criminal conviction this year 2018, He is possible to sponsor me in UK this year? I would like to join with my husband in UK. criminal conviction effect for sponsorship? please reply me. Thank you.
