Spousal visa: Date you plan to arrive in the UK

Having started the application process for a spousal visa. Up to the question 'Date you plan to arrive in the UK(Required)'.

If you are unsure of the date, enter the month and year. After your application has been approved, you will have 30 days to arrange travel to the UK. Do not buy a non-refundable ticket or confirm travel arrangements to come to the UK until your application has been approved. Enter date in the format DD MM YYYY.

Let's say I put down 1st July 2021 (not sure yet but that roughly the date I am thinking of).

1). Let's assume that the visa is approved say on 15th May. Does this mean I have to travel within 30 days of 15th May, that is by 14th June?

2). Alternatively, let's say the visa is approved 15th July. Does this mean I have to travel within 30 days of 15th July, that is by 14th August?

3). Does '... to arrange travel to the UK' mean the same as '... actually travel to the UK'? Logically, I could arrange to travel in the sense of buying a ticket for actual travel six months thereafter.

4). Anything else I need to know about approval dates?

Any clarification much appreciated.

Re: Spousal visa: Date you plan to arrive in the UK

The date you input as being when you will travel is usually the date the vignette will have or thereabouts.
So if you input 1 July the vignette will be from 1 July for 30 days (have heard that with Covid it was increased to 90 days but don't hold me to that)
Sometimes the vignette is a week earlier or week late but they try to be in line with what you state.
